How our process works?
- Discuss your project:
We will discuss the project to determine your needs. we will guide you through the development consent process. We will explore whether your project triggers Complying Development Certificate (CDC) or Development Application (DA).
- Project planning:
EHUP’s surveyor will attend your property to conduct a detail survey of your property. Once the survey plan is ready, our architect will sit with you to discuss the project ideas and designs. Our architect will create a Concept Plan. Our town planner will investigate the concept plan to ensure it meets the approval criteria. When you sign off this concept plan, our architect will create all relevant plans including Architectural Plan and Engineering Plan. Our consultants will obtain all required reports to accompany the DA such as SEE, Arborist report, Acoustic report, Contamination report etc.
- Application Lodgement:
Once all required plans, reports, and certificates are prepared and collated, our Town Planner will lodge your application on your behalf to either your local Council, or an Approved Private Certifier. We will then monitor the approval for you, answering any queries or questions regarding the project, and respond to Council on your behalf with any additional information.
- Approval:
Once approval is received, our team will continue to manage the process including obtaining a Builders Home Warranty Certificate, Construction Certificate, appointing a Principal Certifying Authority (PCA) and then upon inspection PCA would issue an Occupation Certificate at the end of your project.
We can also help in appointing a Licenced Builder for you.
